Who is Christy Wilson?
Hi! My name is Christy Wilson, and I’m a Nashville-based wedding photographer. I specialize in photographing romantic and emotional love stories in gorgeous outdoor locations in Nashville, Tennessee and destinations all around the country. I started my journey as a family photographer, and I love building lasting relationships with all my clients and documenting their stories over the years.
What is the cost for wedding photography?
My studio offers the most popular services & products in one signature collection, or you can create a completely customizable package. Pricing for weddings begins at $4,500 with most clients spending around $6,000. Please contact me for more detailed information.
Do you do elopements?
Absolutely! If you are having a small intimate wedding and elopement, please contact me for special pricing.
What cameras do you shoot with?
I shoot with top of line Nikon cameras & professional grade lenses. I use a Contax 645 film camera and a 35mm Nikon F-100 camera as well.
How long is the usual turnaround time?
I strive to turn around the images to my clients as quickly as possible, while maintaining the impeccable quality my clients expect. Generally, wedding images will be uploaded to an online gallery no more than 60 days after the wedding. Portrait sessions generally require approximately 3 weeks.
How many images will I receive?
I am a firm believer in quality over quantity. At some point, the images will become repetitive, and nobody wants a flip book for their wedding album. I strive to deliver unique images for my clients with each frame I deliver. Generally speaking, if my clients are doing all the traditional customs, clients will receive approximately 60-100 images per hour of photography coverage.
Do I receive copyrights to the photos?
You will receive the print rights to all of the images via an online viewing gallery and USB. Most of my clients won’t require full copyrights buyout. For clients who are extremely private and concerned about their privacy, I do offer full buyout of copyrights to the images. Please inquire for pricing and usage restrictions.
How do I book?
My standard studio policy is for clients to retain the date for my services with a 25% payment of the total contract amount. There will be a total of 3 payments spaced out equally between the contract signing date and a month before the wedding date. All fees are due no less than 30 days prior to the wedding. Do you travel for destination or international weddings?
I have documented love stories all over the country and have traveled worldwide. There are no places too far to tell my clients’ stories! I do have special pricing & considerations for destination weddings. Please contact me directly for full pricing information.
Do you do family, maternity, or newborn portraits?
Yes! I have been photographing families since the beginning of my business. One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is documenting life, and I just love watching families grow.
